Exercising at a young age is not only vital for children’s overall health and wellbeing but it is also a government requirement. Primary school children should have access to a minimum of 2 hours of curricular PE per week, including dance.
Raquel offers dance fitness classes in many forms. Your school could have a 30-minute session first thing in the morning, to awaken children and prepare them for the day ahead, or an optional class during after-school clubs.
Raquel has over 15 years of experience working with young children and she has delivered morning sessions at primary schools in Liverpool. The children absolutely love it. It’s a well-paced session, with a warm-up, learning and practising a choreography which challenges children’s coordination, and finishes with a cool down, so children can return to class ready to continue with their class work.
