Humans are born with an innate capability for music which is shaped according to the environment and exposure to music, especially at a young age. The benefits of music have been widely explored by research and it has been proven that music is an effective way to improve coordination, concentration, confidence, memory, expression, communication, social skills and creativity.

My music lessons are very unique and innovative as classes are inspired by ‘Dalcroze Eurhythmics’, an approach developed by Emile-Jacques Dalcroze (1865-1950), a Swiss composer and educator. What makes this approach so special is that music is experienced through movement in a holistic process of activating, developing and refining musicality. It also develops listening skills through ear-training and improvisation.
